Turns out, third time is not the charm.
Corey Perry lost his third straight Stanley Cup Final appearance, with the Avalanche defeating Perry and the Lightning in this year's finals.
Perry was a member of the 2020 Stars team that fell short in the bubble to the Lightning, as well as Tucker Barnhart Jersey the Canadiens team in 2021 that had their Cinderella run to the finals end unceremoniously by the Bolts.

Playing in more of a depth role with the Stars, Perry was a part of the Dallas team to make a run to the finals during the 2020 bubble playoffs. He contributed nine points in 27 games, with his biggest moment of the playoffs coming in Game 5 of the finals when he scored in overtime to keep the Stars' season alive.
2021 Canadiens
After his one-year deal with the Stars expired, the team elected not to re-sign him. The Canadiens took advantage, signing the veteran to a one-year deal.
With Montreal, Perry initially was not a part of the lineup, but worked his way into a bottom-six role. The Canadiens managed to get the last spot in the North Division and then began their shocking run to the finals. After recording just 12 points in 49 regular season games, Perry registered 10 points in 22 playoff games. However, the Lightning bested his squad Eugenio Suarez Jersey again.
Similarly to the Stars, the Canadiens decided not to re-sign Perry, who wanted a two-year contract that then-GM Marc Bergevin wasn't willing to offer. As a result, the Lightning inked him to his two-year deal and now he's got another chance at a title.

Perry was instrumental in the Ducks' 2007 win over the Senators. In the five games Anaheim needed to win the Cup, Perry had at least one point in four out of the five games and ended the series with two goals and four a sists.
In his stint with the Stars, Perry had three goals in the series against Matt Kemp Jersey the Lightning, including the game-winning OT goal in Game 5 to keep Dallas alive.
