Klondike solitaire card game and game rules

In this classic patience game, you are given a deck of 52 standard playing cards and your task is to move all of them by suit from Ace to King to the four foundations at the top right corner.

The game begins with seven tableau columns, each with an increasing number of downturned cards from left to right. The first begins with one card, the second with two cards, and so on until the seventh begins with seven cards.

One upturned card is dealt to the top of each tableau column, followed by three upturned cards being dealt to the discard stack, and the remaining downturned cards becoming the stock, which is placed in the top left corner next to the discard stack.

Initially, the four foundations are left empty.

The cards can be placed on the tableau piles before proceeding to the foundations.

If the topmost card on the discard pile is an alternate color and an immediately higher rank, the topmost card on the tableau pile can be dragged to a tableau column; for example, the 6 of clubs can be dragged to the top of the 7 of diamonds or the 7 of hearts.
